I think that I have always liked Fashion. I liked to wear nice clothing and show off. I do not mean that in a mean way, in fact if my friends asked me I was always offered my help and was the first to help them in terms of choosing what clothing and accessories to use.

In fact I love reading fashion blogs and studying clothing trends. One trend that certainly caught my eye is the fact that many clothing lines are moving towards their own brands. In fact the place they are doing that may surprise you. Take Target for example and their license agreement with Mossimo Clothing brand.

That particular clothing line is quite nice and not expensive. In fact I remember that in a major city there was a story where Target rented temporary space and did an entire marketing campaign for their clothing line.

That marketing campaign certainly worked as people were lined up around the block. In fact in three hours the employees were apologizing telling people that there were no more items left and that they would restock one more time and then close the store as the line of clothing was going into all the main Target stores the next month. Talk about a successful campaign. Wow. Amazing if you think about it.  The company came out with a great clothing line and marketed it well and everyone is into it.

I think when they did that they had me in mind. I am the type that had I been there at that time I would have been in line just like the others and trying to get into the store to get the clothing. I also think that is the success of those pop sales that many places have. That is where a designer will go and rent a temporary place in order to pull in people. The lure of course is the designer and the brand, and the other lure is the fact that those designer names that everyone seems to want is actually on sale at prices well below those of the store. I have been to many of those. They are amazing.

You can get really great things there and spend a lot less then in a major department store. Of course shopping online for clothing has become the rage as well and you certainly can get great bargains if you know your size.

I believe that Target really did do a good job getting a license with the Mossimo line and I wish them a lot of luck and hope it succeeds.
