Shopping for Refrigerators
I began noticing that my fridge was not acting like its normal self. I began acting all weird and was in fact making a noise that I had not heard before. It began to shake and rattle as if it was in a tornado.
At that point I decided this was not something I was going to live with for very long. As strange as that sounds I went ahead and decided I was not calling a repair person but was going to get a new one. I looked for the Sears Refrigerators in my area and then went on line to see if they had a better price. Now being I had not bought a fridge in ten years I was not aware just how many models they had. I just knew that I needed a new one.
It was like leasing a car. I always wondered why people leased cars and not finance them.
The answer I always got was “who wants to deal with the headache of having things break”, I use to believe that was just a bunch of lazy people talking, but I am more convinced after seeing one of my home appliances go that those people may be on to something.
So how did the story end you might ask me? Well what happened was I did end up ordering the product from an online retailer. The price was cheaper and the salesperson threw in free delivery. It really became a no brainer at that point. I did get the new refrigerator about a week later and it really runs well. It is nice and quiet and I have really seen a difference even in things like the temperature that the food is held at. It is now so much better run. I wish someone had told me about this earlier. I do guess you live and learn.
